The long wait is finally over and the Homevida team is pleased to announce the 2018 Homevida Competition .
Over the years, we have focused on providing incentives to young script writers and film makers which has birthed the production of 24 Homevida Short Films. However, this year, we are expanding our scope to include all forms of art, starting with skits and spoken words.
We are hereby excited to announce the call for skits and spoken word videos that creatively portray the theme: The Impact of the Internet on Economic Growth and Prosperity
What are we looking for?
We are looking for videos that highlight the use the internet to incite hate speech towards using the internet to improve the quality of our economic and socio-cultural lives. We are focused on the positive uses of the internet to raise awareness on how the internet can be an enabler for improving the quality of life from different perspectives. Participants must produce a video (not longer than 3 minutes) that creatively conveys their ideas on how the internet can be used for socio-economic growth (either through a skit, or spoken words) with the caption or hashtag #Internet4All and #HomevidaImpacts.
Entries for this competition must be original and creative so have fun with your videos and be yourself.
Winners of this competition would be walking away with N250,000, N200,000 and N150,000… you don’t want to miss this!!!
