Throwback Thursday

J.T Tom-West

 jt tomwest

Today’s throwback is in memory of beloved ponytailed hunk and then bad boy of Nollywood J.T Tom-West.

J.T was born Joe Tamuno-Bibidamaa Tom-West in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He featured in over 25  Nollywood movies before he died on September 28, 2006 in Lagos of internal bleeding following an auto-accident while returning from a late nite film shooting location with two of his colleagues. He was also a director, dancer, singer and a single father. Some of his movies include Shattered Illusion, Born 2 Suffer, Last Weekend and Eleventh Hour.

For our Nollywood aficionados, who knows what movie this clip featuring our own J.T is from?

#TuesdayTrivia

trivia

Today’s trivia is a bit of a riddle. We might need to get out our pens and notepads…and remember the alphabets 🙂

I am a famous actress. My trademark has two same letters that also happen to be the first letter of one of the most popular fruits in Nigeria. More recently I have branched out into music and just became the First Lady of a record label that has as its name an abbreviation of two letters: the 1st, same letter my surname begins with and the 2nd, the 2nd letter of the alphabet.

Who am I?
