BAFTA 2014: The Glitz, The Glam and The Winners

Chinwetel Ejiofor

The 2014 British Academy Film Awards held last night at the Royal Opera House in London. The competition was fierce with American Hustle, Gravity and 12 years a slave being the notable nominees. Although 12 years a slave bagged the biggest awards of the show, being the Best Film Award and Leading Actor, Gravity owned the night by winning 6 out of its 11 awards including the Outstanding British Film & Best Director. Kudos to our own Chiwetel Ejiofor for winning his first major award. More pics after the cut
